So. Much. Work. 0

I’m sure you’ve noticed how quiet it is here. That’s because I’m totally swamped with work, which shouldn’t affect this blog in an ideal world but I’m kind of triple-booked at the moment so both you and I will have to live with it.

Lots of Swedish projects wrapping up these days, not much for most of you to see really but still… Swedish gaming website Kong got upgraded to 4.1, Swedish pen-and-paper RPG ARK is progressing and its publisher’s website is to be upgraded as well, and a few other things that I really can’t talk about.

Will have some good stuff for you guys here soon, as well as previews of the Orn site and – perhaps – another project that’s been underway for quite some time now.

Yeah, I told you. Swamped.

New stuff here 0

Right, so I’ve been adding to this post for a while now, with every thing I’ve done technically here at tdhedengren.com. It’s meant to be both informative and something of a timestamp of this blog.

It’s talk like a pirate day 0

Today, September 19th, is talk like a pirate day. Silly.

Still, check out two pirate related sites: ninja and doctor in one, Dr. McNinja (read from the beginning!) and Ninja Loves Pirate, an old school 2D pixel platformer for the PC (interview with the creators in PTD #11) with demo online.

Tomorrow is shut up with the arrr’s day.

PTD #11 is out now 0

The eleventh issue of PDF gaming magazine PTD is out now. I’ve been acting as production assistant this time as well, although not with as much work as last time. A lot less actually…

Anyway, two (was it, I forgot?) articles from yours truly can be found in its pages, so you should go get it right away. It’s free.

Oh, and if that doesn’t appeal to you then perhaps the upcoming PS3 giveaway will.

Blog networks going deep rather than wide 0

Martin Neumann, who also writes for The Blog Herald, commented on my recent post regarding Instablogs niche gadget blogs. He, just like me, thinks it’s a good idea to go deep rather than wide (his words, but still true) as a blog network, delivering niche sites within the network rather than competing with established hotshots.

Like Instablogs does, because by launching their niche gadget blogs they won’t fall victim to giants like Engadget or Gizmodo.

Fallen - a poem about Orn 3

This poem was originally published years ago, as a teaser for the OrnTales project. I have purged the blog post part of this update, so that the poem is what it is.

Fallen

So I stood there,
On top of it all
Speaking to angels,
And trusting them all

All was clear and true,
Life’s a concept to me
Destiny’s path is solid,
Plain for me to see

Then came the storm,
Of darkness and fright
Took us by heart,
Ate our souls in the night

Hilltops of heaven,
Angels speaks to you and I
The shadows overcame,
So everybody must die

Fallen to heart,
Fallen to soul
Fallen by choice,
Fallen by the foul

So I stand here,
Beside mountains of hate
Blood and death behind,
I walk my own path of fate

The problem with alien monsters 0

I just realized that the title of this post needs some explanation. So I give you, the official sub title of The problem with alien monsters post!

Besides the fact that they might be invading our world, eating your brain, mating and probing (err) and being obnoxious in the real world.

Rock is dead, reanimate please 0

I have revisited some great classic albums; among those is Appetite for Destruction by Guns n’ Roses. It’s their best album in my opinion.

I get sad listening to Appetite for Destruction.

9/11 and Counter-Strike 0

The Blog Herald is 9/11 only today, which means I haven’t got much to contribute. I thought. Then I wrote about how it was to get the news in a Counter-Strike session, and how people behaved.

If you’re a gamer and want to see your fellow gamers from their worst side, this might be a read for you. Or if you’re just 9/11 browsing.
