Hello. My name is Thord Daniel Hedengren, originating from Sweden but feeling pretty global thanks to that big thing called the Internet. I’m a designer, writer, and blogger. Among other things, I might add. This is my blog, portfolio, and online playground.
The man
I’m 28 years old, married with no kids, but a great cat named Cookie. I live in Sweden, that’s in Europe people.
The entrepreneur
I’ve been starting projects since I was a teenager. After turning 18, I founded my first company (needed to be of legal age), and started doing websites professionally. Before that I had done a bit of freelance writing, and learned quite a lot on the road.
Now I’m the part-owner of Cylinder Labs AB, a company that works as an umbrella for all my projects. I’ve launched numerous publishing ventures, sold a few, capitalized on some, failed in others. Check out my services and projects pages for more, or just ask.
The designer
I started out doing all web design myself, but as it got more and more complicated, I learned to outsource. Great platforms like WordPress are putting guys like me in charge again, so most ventures I do are made from scratched by myself.
However, most of my design is by appointment. Take a look at my portfolio for more.
The writer
I’m a freelance journalist when I feel like it, writing in both Swedish and English. Besides that, I’m also an aspiring author, currently writing fantasy short stories and publishing them over at OrnTales.com.
The blogger
I got into blogging because I was amazed by the rapid growth of the international blogosphere, as well as the form of the medium. That’s when I re-registered tdhedengren.com, a domain I’d previously owned but let go. The idea was to write blog posts in English to see if my writing in this particular language was up to the task, and to attract attention.
It worked, and since then I’ve been blogging professionally on a number of sites. There’s a listing on the stalker page.
I also blog on my own projects, including this blog.
Want to know more?
You can always ask, but it might be more fun to follow me online. I’m active on a number of social networking sites, as well as a writer on several blogs. You might also enjoy the archives of this blog, since these blog post certainly gives away at least something about me.
Thanks for reading.
