There’s a really interesting blogging project that’s been going on for almost a year. 365 tomorrows features a new (really) short story every day, all “speculative fiction” if you’re to take the project’s own statement as a definition. Which you should since it’s pretty much on the mark.
I like 365 tomorrows. The project kicks ass, even if I don’t read every story posted there. And it’s not only because the concept – a story a day – is appealing to me, since I’ve been sketching out something similar, no, it’s the whole package. The website is sweet, I like the approach, and their choice of going with reader submissions starting August 1st – one year on – is sweet.
You might think it would be more newsworthy if I wrote this little homage on July 31st, but the reason for this post isn’t to pump 365 tomorrows horn concept-vise. No, it’s a matter of the short story published July 17th, a nice little thing that surely reads the minds of Steve Jobs and his fellow Apples.
