Rock is dead, reanimate please

I have revisited some great classic albums; among those is Appetite for Destruction by Guns n’ Roses. It’s their best album in my opinion.

I get sad listening to Appetite for Destruction.

Why? Well, because I can’t find that kind of album today. Where’s the rock n’ roll, the gasoline fumes and attitude? I enjoy a good garage rock band any day, I think The Hives are doing the 70s thing all over again and that’s all good, but not even the ones who actually kicked ass in the 70s and 80s are doing it all the way. Rolling Stones should’ve retired years ago, Iron Maiden has reshaped themselves, and even Alice Cooper has adapted to today’s music.

Adaptations in principle suck, even if the actual result might be good.

I want kick ass from the heart, evolution in rock and not just more boring metal riffs.

Appetite of Destuction reminds me of how rock n’ roll tasted. It’s a taste that I don’t mind lingering in my mouth.
