I’ll be doing one launch and one relaunch in April. The relaunch is obvious for dedicated readers, being the new BloggerTalks. It is due very soon, I’m just waiting for some content. The design is 95% complete, and I’m bughunting the code right now. I’ll probably do some last minute tweaks, but overall I’m happy with the clean, straight forward look I’ve given it.

The launch is a new site, titled Feeling Productive. It’s a blog on productivity, something I’ve got a lot to say about, as you may know by now. During the years I’ve been devising several ways to increase my productivity, and make my workflow be more fluid. I’ve made mistakes, learned things, and found solutions. Now I want to share.

So BloggerTalks is due very soon, and Feeling Productive is a bit further off, but both of them are planned for launch in April 2008.

There you have it. It’s always nice to share plans.

Yesterday I wrote about me getting back to fiction. Today I’m launching OrnTales.com, my fantasy fiction project. Be sure to check it out if you’re into these kind of things. There will be an on-going short story all the time, with two new parts published each week. The first one is called Quest for Knighthood, and the first part is up, with the next one due on Wednesday.

To me, this is an exciting project. It’ll be very interesting to see how I can use the blogging format, as well as the blogosphere - although it’ll be in parts of it that I’m not well-versed at all - for promoting my fiction.

For now, I’m happy to have launched it. This week have not started well, so I’ll settle for that.

I’m doing the capital mistake when launching rethord.com, and I hope you know it. I know all about it, it would be shameful not to, given my track record with blog launches and projects started over the last ten years. And yes, I’ll go into that at another time.

So what is it already?

Always have your site ready before the launch. No under construction signs or stuff like that, it’s not only unprofessional, it’s also tacky (I’ve left them out here though). Don’t launch sites that aren’t done yet! More

Good people, I’m on vacation. This is my view, not too shabby, especially since the photo doesn’t do it justice. Click it for a larger version.

No broadband but my wonderful Sony Ericsson K810i at least gives me some kind of connectivity, although I do not intend to use it much. Basically, what I’m doing is checking my e-mail every other day and take it easy. Oh, and I write. A lot. I’ll let you in on what later on.
