I’m sorry to yet again have to flag for some craziness here at tdhedengren.com. There’s things to be done, mostly behind the scenes at first, but then also in a more public, visual way. I might redirect traffic for some time to make sure that everything can work as it is intended, or I might just deal with it. More

E-mail Issues Resolved 0cmnts
For some reason, the settings for my tdhedengren.com e-mail accounts didn’t migrate with everything else in the server move made by the good folks over at A Small Orange. Everything else did, but not these, which is weird. I heard about this just now, and have resolved the issue. Sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused, if you e-mailed me in the past 48 hours and haven’t heard back, please resend as the e-mail either have bounced back (which you probably noticed), or disappeared along the way.
Thanks for your patience.
Back Online, Better Get Busy 0cmnts
Back online. I’m psyched, finally got around to nailing down the main parts of my own little network, consisting of the blog you’re reading (which is due for relaunch, I’m mentioned this before, this is just a placeholder blog, sort of), the interview blog BloggerTalks, and upcoming productivity blog Feeling Productive. If nothing else, my downtime gave me the opportunity to stock up on some posts for the upcoming launch, and get some other network stuff done.
That’ll have to wait now, though. Got a lot of catching up to do, not to mention client work. So here we go again!
Firefox Crashed Thrice 0cmnts
Three Firefox (for Mac) crashes this morning so far. It seems to be a bug of sorts, when opening new tabs too quickly after loading a web page in a separate tab. Not acceptable, there should be an auto-report error button when Firefox crashes!
You might remember from various social notes that I switched back from Safari to Firefox due to the instability of the former… Well, with Safari 3.1 out, maybe I should give the Apple browser another go?
I’m In A Group Interview About Web Design 3cmnts
I got the chance to participate in a group interview over at Vandelay Website Design, joined by several talented designers. Do check it out for some nice thoughts and styles when it comes to design work, from me and others.
Steven got one thing wrong though. I’m not an employee of Splashpress Media, I just do a lot of client work for them. Hopefully he’ll clarify that soon enough.
Stuck In Work Limbo 0cmnts
I should be setting up everything in the new office today, wiring and getting stuff in place. Well, I’m not, due to a broken elevator in the building I’m moving from. That means I’ve lost today as a work day, basically, and I’m bound to loose tomorrow as well, at the very least.
That’s not good for productivity, or my economy for that matter. Better get on the phone and start harassing the building’s owner. Again and again.
It’s already having consequences, this stint. BloggerTalks is not back on track today, I don’t want to commit before I’m properly setup, and I’ll have to reschedule client work, push it forward until Wednesday, tentatively.
My March 2008 goals, however, are still working out for now. I managed to close (more or less) on of the four client designs I was about to, will write more on that one later on, and that’s nice. Another one is in the coding phase, and the other two are awaiting feedback. And I did get two new photo sets from my Japan trip up on Flickr, now just to scan through everything to see if there’s anything else I should upload, or call it quits.
Ah well. Better do what I can, and not just whine about it.
Two New Photo Sets From My Trip To Japan 0cmnts
I’ve uploaded two new sets of photos from my trip to Japan: Osaka jyou and Senrioka. Check them out if you will.
Back In The Land Of Kings 8cmnts
I’m sitting in the familiar chair in front of my three TFT screens, behind my desk. Back in Sweden again, after a horrible day of traveling (I won’t fly intercontinental in economy class again), and a good night’s sleep in a room beyond 5 degrees Celsius. It feels good, albeit a little weird, since I was in Japan long enough to get into an everyday routine. More
New Japan Photos on Flickr 0cmnts
I’ve uploaded a bunch of new photos from Japan, and also reorganized a bit in my sets. Check out my Flickr page for the latest, and the Japan collection for a set list.
