I no longer own any Swedish sites 0cmnts

Commercial sites, that is. I’m going to relaunch my blog in Swedish pretty soon but that’s it. So yeah, I’ve sold ‘em all, including Kong. I’m staying on for a while to make sure everything goes smoothly, then we’ll see. The new owners, Umit, will make something good of this I’m sure, otherwise I wouldn’t have sold the sites of course.

Ten years as a Swedish games journo. Granted, lately I’ve been more and more focused on the international blogging and new media scene, as well as working with design. I plan on to further delve into these things.

But as I said, I’m staying on for quite some time.

How I enjoy watching the blogosphere from a distance, and how I have to bite my lip not to get overly involved. I’ve been doing that for quite some time now, but obviously failing that with my recent write-up about a blog sale, I just can’t help but keep going about the subject.

There’s blog starting up and closing down every minute, and most of them either sucks or are totally uninteresting for the vast majority of people. Some of them, however, has a nice idea and a lot of potential but still doesn’t reach its expected peak. And some never really kick of when it comes to revenue and/or visitors – but get sold anyway. Like this last deal that just went through.
