No, I haven’t got a release date for the first part of The Green Knight short story yet. It’s close, but I’m editing and fiddling around a bit with the storyline, to make room for a future little happening, so hang in there a little longer. I’m also waiting for the cover illustration for The Green Knight, which is due later this week. I’m happy to announce that work on the next short story - The Green Knight - featuring Knight-in-Waiting Stiel Uthrom, is well underway. The first part is written and just needs a final editing by yours truly, and part 2-3 are partly written, while part 4 is drafted. I’d reckon this story will be at least six parts long though, so I need a few more sessions before I’m comfortable starting to publish here on OrnTales.com.
I’d also like to let you all know that the world of Orn haven’t been standing still while I’ve been fiddling with other things. Major story events have been drafted in a timeline already, and I’ve actually taken a huge step character-wise, that might not mean so much to you, dear reader, but it does to me since it more or less changes everything. Having a plan at this early stage helps me set up events in a grander fashion.
Next time you hear from me will hopefully be in a few days, with me announcing a publishing date for the first part in The Green Knight story. Stay tuned, and be sure to subscribe to updates if you don’t already.
I’m happy to announce that the next story here on OrnTales.com, the direct follow-up to Quest for Knighthood, is well underway. As I’ve previously said, The Green Knight will feature Knight-in-Waiting Stiel Uthrum and his adventures. The cover image is ordered from my illustrator, and writing’s going good so far.
My goal is to publish the first part in this story before the end of January, but I don’t want to commit to that just yet. There are some other things Orn craving my attention as well, so you might have to wait until February to reacquaint yourself with Stiel again.

Yes, you read it correctly. Part six of the Quest for Knighthood story is wrapping it up. Painful, isn’t it?
The next story here on OrnTales.com, because we’ll have more of course - that’s the whole idea - will also feature the green-haired knight Stiel. I won’t be publishing the first part until early 2008 though, due to the Holiday’s and a short vacation. Actually, I won’t even give you a date at this time, so if you’re really psyched about what’s coming up, be sure to subscribe to updates.
That being said, there are a few other things coming along here, such as reading tips, comment functionality, and something else…
Oh, and the name of the next story - the one coming early 2008 - will be The Green Knight. It’s mapped out and partly written, although I’m planning a rewrite of parts of the storyline.
